Ümit is an experienced business leader, leadership consultant, coach, trainer and public speaker with a wealth of experience across diverse cultures and industries. He is the founder of The Good Company, which advises individual and corporate clients on leadership transformation.

His multicultural heritage, blending German and Turkish roots, and his life spent across Türkiye, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Germany, have enriched his global perspective and adaptability.

For 17 years, Ümit held various professional roles across the US and Europe at Citigroup, Deloitte, Actera Group, and most recently as Senior Vice President at Rolls-Royce. He started his career in management consulting, followed by investment banking and private equity in London, Chicago, and Istanbul, before moving into senior leadership roles in industry, where he managed growing organizations and led various business development initiatives and transformation processes.

Ümit is a passionate advocate for human-centric leadership. As a leadership consultant, coach, trainer and public speaker, he focuses on helping individuals and organizations leverage core human skills in leadership to drive sustainable high performance.

Ümit is a graduate of the London School of Economics and Political Science and Purdue University. He lives in Berlin with his wife and son. He is fluent in English, Turkish and German.
